So blessed to have passed TP and finally gotten my 2B license. Have not felt this sense of gratification in such a long time. :) 

The amount of pure, genuine unfiltered happiness in that room when the remaining people got the result was truly memorable. Calls to wives (who started screamng on the phone), cheering, smiles - I'll never forget it.

Recognise that I was fortunate enough to pass almost all of it 1st try. Though it looks kind of nice, there was a lot of blood, sweat and tears that went into it - this is not an easy license to get (for good reasons). To those who are still trying, the best advise that almost all 2B holders can agree on is - don't give up.

So I really cannot get enough of eating steamboat and hotpot lately. Since I'm quite into art these days, I thought it would be a really interesting idea to illustrate that - manga style!

Pirate Jayexa! Anime style~

Argh! From sailing the high seas livin' a life of freedom (fantasizing) to downloading illegal files on shady torrent sites (this one's real enough) - it's a pirates life for me!

Stunning work by hkanaki_ for coming up with this piece of art of me as a pirate. I've been quite obsessed with getting myself drawn in so many different styles lately - must be the some kind of quarter life crisis.

Many of these artists are seriously doing a good job, making me look a lot more smexy than what I might actually look like irl - not sure how I should feel about that. Still, looking at it just makes me so happy :D

Art of Warrior; Jayexa

Pretty excited to get my new art piece by hollowus - who is not only an excellent artist, but also communicates with you well and makes sure that you're involved in every step of the process.

Warrior - Jayexa

Jayexa is an online alias name that I use often. I've always thought of how an ideal bad-ass character would look like for me and this delivery certainly did blow my mind.

I especially liked the composition and aura radiating out of him, in a war torn battlefield. Perhaps I am getting darker as I get older...

Thoughts on Quarantine

So its been a couple of months where the quarantine is in place due to the whole COVID-19 situation. I've seen many instances of people claiming to be 'bored' at home, and would love to have the opportunity to go out as they usually do.

Honestly for me though, I love this whole arrangement! Work can be done from home and there is no expectation for you to be out and about. It made me realise that I actually wouldn't mind an arrangement like that for a long time if need be - which would make me some kind of hermit!

Then again, its better for the virus to go away and for everyone to be well.
