Signed up for Class 2A 1 year later after my 2B. Thankfully there was no need for any more theory tests.
Rode the CB400 Super Four Revo in the circuit - I knew it was popular on the streets, but never knew the reason why till now. The 4 cylinder engine pick up was so much better than 2B bikes and it sounds amazing. It also has Vtech! (Not that you'd be able to use it in the circuit)
Record
1.01 - 1x
2.01 - 2x
3.01 - 1x
TP Test - 1x
Circuit Revision - 7x
Total cost for me - $553.58
Time taken - approx. 2 months (16 Nov 23 - 24 Jan 24)
Initially had some troubles doing the bumpy course - you'd never need to do this outside on the roads. After overkilling on the circuit revisions, I managed to get hang of it.
Vibes of the people in Class 2A/2 during the test was a bit different from 2B, more uncles and people that seemed to have been on the road for quite some time. My test was abit F, I was the last bike in my group and the morning car lessons all started while I was still going through the test route - created quite a few situations that I needed to handle, but thankfully nothing major happened.
Tension was there for sure before results were announced - but passed~!! Got 10 demerit points, which was interesting as I've always thought testers tend to give 18pts for people who passed.
Felt a huge sense of relief, then happiness - this feeling will never ever get old for me. :)
